When I was growing up, my mom used to say, “I don’t trust no one. And when I’m in love, I don’t trust myself.” At the time, I didn’t have enough experience to understand what she meant. But as an adult, I have an idea.

The journey to accomplishing 'impossible' dreams is fraught with challenges, and one formidable obstacle women often face is envy. Envy has the power to disrupt businesses, hinder collaboration, impede personal growth, and strain day-to-day functioning.

A conversation with Photographer and experienced multi-disciplinary creative Chris Charles always had the desire to make things. From childhood comic book illustrations, to using his parent's 35mm camera to discover and explore his passion for photography as a child, to having his paintings displayed at the Brooklyn Museum of Art as a 2nd grader (true story), Chris always had a knack for making the most out of very little.
