The Bad Girl Fit series was designed to expand the face and lifestyle circumstances of those who we imagine can be and be healthy and well. It was created because, often, while some bodies feel safe in wellness spaces, others do not: bigger bodies, bodies of color, bodies who have birthed lives. Bad Girl Fit Pledge 1 is the FREE health and wellness program that makes room for those who do not fit in traditional spaces.

Definitions of Fit…

  • proper or acceptable : morally or socially correct

  • suitable for a specified purpose

  • physically healthy and strong

The word “fit” has at least three definitions (see above). This series recognizes all three. The Bad Girl Fit series was designed to expand the face and lifestyle circumstances of those who deserve to be physically healthy and strong to include women who are not always seen as “proper or acceptable,” both morally and socially, in health and wellness places. We call it Bad Girl Fit to signal the exclusion, but also to signal the inclusion— the idea that this space was created to center those women. It is a 14-month campaign that includes challenges around the following:

  • Food

  • Water

  • Steps

  • Movement

  • Sleeping

  • Breathing

  • Journaling

  6. Why is Bad Girl Fit being offered? We are offering this 14-month health and wellness campaign because of the lessons we learned from our premium program, Covet. We learned that one of the key drivers of our women’s success was that they were in close community with other women they identified with. Many of our participants reported quitting traditional fitness and programs and diets after three months. But the pilot members of Covet stayed the entire year— with no one leaving the program. The one factor that kept everyone coming back was their investment in the success of the collective. We wanted to scale this success, so that other women who feel uncomfortable in traditional health and wellness spaces could feel more empowered and move towards fulfilling their goals and to close gaps.

  7. When is Bad Girl Fit? Bad Girl Fit runs from February 2022 to April 2023. And it is broken down into two seven-month sequences. Sequence one runs February through September. Sequence two runs from October through April.
